I am currently a post-doctoral researcher at UCL working on the ecology of shallow lakes, how aquatic biodiversity responds to nutrient pollution and how our society at large benefits from heathy lake ecosystems.
Prior to this I completed a PhD in Ecology, a MSc in Geography and a BSc in Botany.
I started my interest in plants as a child with cacti and succulents. in 2000, a four-month stay in South Africa opened my eyes to field botany and I never looked back!
Georgina and I live in Sheffield with our two years old daughter Agatha.
