I am currently a post-doctoral researcher at UCL working on freshwater biodiversity, how biota respond to nutrient pollution and how our society at large benefits from heathy aquatic ecosystems.
Prior to this I completed a PhD in Ecology, a MSc in Geography and a BSc in Botany.
I started my interest in plants as a child with cacti and succulents. In 2000, a four-month stay in South Africa opened my eyes to field botany and I never looked back!
Georgina and I live in Sheffield with our four years old daughter Agatha.
